Incense Holder

3D Printed Incense Holders

An incense holder has two jobs: hold the stick safely and catch the ash. Our three models solve that in different ways — as a long tray, as an incense box and as a figure. All are printed from PLA out of our own extrusion line, designed and made in Poland.

The models

Incense holder with panda. A 26.5 cm tray where the stick burns lying down, with a small panda figure beside it. At 7 cm tall it is low enough for a shelf, a bedside table or a meditation corner.

Incense box with warrior figure. The box measures 28.5 × 7 cm and the figure stands 11 cm. Available in gold and bronze — both colours come from our metallic-pigmented PLA line.

Dragon incense holder. 16 cm tall and 9 cm wide, in black. The dragon is an object in its own right and works as a figure when nothing is burning.

For sticks, not cones or charcoal

This is the most important line on the page. A smouldering incense stick gives off its heat at one point, the glowing tip, and the holder underneath stays largely cool.

Cones and charcoal sit directly on the surface and push heat downwards across a whole area. These holders are not built for that: PLA softens at around 60 °C. For cones, and for a backflow incense burner or charcoal, you need ceramic, stone or metal.

Where to put it

On a flat, non-flammable surface and out of reach of children and animals — true of any incense burner, whatever it is made of. Avoid draughts, which make the stick burn unevenly and blow ash around.

Keeping a distance from curtains, paper and wooden shelves goes without saying. Never leave a burning stick unattended.

Ash and cleaning

Tap the ash out or brush it off dry; a damp cloth picks up the fine residue left in the layer structure. No dishwasher — the temperatures in there are past what the material takes.

Essential oils from some incense can leave a faint film on light colours over time. On black, bronze and gold you barely notice it.

Colour and reordering

Because we make the filament ourselves, the shade of a repeat order matches the first delivery. With metallic tones that matters more than usual, since batch-to-batch differences show up more clearly there than on plain colours.

As a gift

Incense holders are often given together with incense itself — as a housewarming present, a birthday gift or a small thank-you. The dragon and the warrior also work for people who never burn incense, because they stand on their own as figures.
