A gift set takes the decision off your hands about which single piece suits whom. The combinations here aren't random: they follow what actually gets used together — a vase with the matching planter from the same series, or several dinosaur skeletons as a collection.
Everything is made in-house from PLA that we have been extruding ourselves since 2016.
The practical reason is colour. Two objects from the same series in the same white read as a group; two slightly different whites read as an accident.
The second reason is proportion. In the Linea series the vase and the planter are matched in height and diameter: 20 cm and 9 cm for one, 9 cm and 11 cm for the other. Standing next to each other they give a height relationship that was designed rather than discovered by trial.
Sets are mostly given for a housewarming, a birthday or Christmas. Decorative combinations like a vase and a planter work more broadly than strongly themed single pieces, because they don't assume a particular taste — they find a place in almost any home.
Themed sets like the dinosaur collection aim at a clear audience. With a child in the dinosaur phase the hit rate is high; outside it, low.
The Linea gift set comes in a choice of white, black or burgundy. Two rules hold up well: within a set stay in one colour family and vary the shapes — not the other way round. And the stronger the surface texture, the quieter the colour, because texture and a bold tone compete for the same attention.
PLA softens at around 60 °C. For a gift that rarely matters — the problem cases are windowsills in direct summer sun, spots next to radiators and a car ride in the heat.
The Linea set is meant for decoration. For fresh flowers or plants that need water, we recommend an insert of glass or another waterproof material.
A set can be extended with single pieces from the same series. Because we extrude the filament ourselves, the shade still matches the first delivery months later — with bought-in material a shift between batches is normal and visible on the finished surface.
