Filament PCTG

Higher impact resistance than PETG

PCTG prints in the same window as PETG, 230–255 °C nozzle, 50–70 °C bed, so an existing PETG profile transfers directly. The advantage is impact strength: PCTG withstands impacts that would crack PETG, and it renders detail with less haze.

Applications

Parts subject to dropping, clamping or shock loading, and housings requiring a clean appearance in addition to strength. PCTG also strings noticeably less than PETG in practice, making it a practical upgrade where stringing has been an issue.

Colours and spools
