ASA is a technical polymer that combines the strength of ABS with excellent resistance to ultraviolet light and moisture. If you need parts that maintain their shape under sunlight and heat, ASA is the right choice. It does not yellow, crack, or deform even after prolonged outdoor use.
ASA is easy to work with: the material is stable during printing, warps less, provides strong layer adhesion, and produces almost no harsh odor. Printed parts have a semi-matte, pleasant-to-the-touch surface. If desired, it can be polished or smoothed with acetone vapors for a clean, glossy finish.
ASA is ideal for automotive components, outdoor signs, enclosures, and prototypes that must withstand sunlight, heat, and mechanical stress.

For stable printing, use a heated build plate and an enclosed chamber. Avoid drafts — ASA is sensitive to sudden airflows. After printing, store the spool in a dry container to prevent moisture absorption.
